A Discussion with Soren Simonsen

Please join us on March 18 for a conversation with Soren Simonsen, urban designer, planner, architect, and conservation advocate with Mormon Environmental Stewardship Alliance (MESA). Soren has more than 20 years of public service as an appointed and elected official, and his work includes developing livable cities, designing sustainable and resilient buildings, and protecting sensitive lands and natural resources. Soren is the Executive Director of the Jordan River Commission.

Soren and his wife Heather have raised three children and cared for lots of pets. He is a member of the Parleys Sixth Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City.

Soren will talk to us about the Methane Project, the Jordan River Commission, and issues we face in sustainable living and city planning. Please bring your questions to add your voice to the sustainability discussion.
