 WHO ARE WE?

  • Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization that empowers everyday people to build the political will for effective climate solutions. CCL works through five levers of political will: lobbying elected officials, engaging the media, grassroots outreach, grasstops engagement (partnering with community leaders), and developing strong local chapters.

The LDS Action Team is a formal CCL chapter with a Latter-day Saint focus. We align with CCL’s initiatives but approach them through a faith-rooted lens—creating resources, hosting meetings, and taking action in ways that connect climate solutions to our shared values of stewardship, community, and care for God’s creation.

  • The LDS Action Team is a chapter of Citizen’s Climate Lobby. We collaborate with other faith-based CCL chapters and Latter-day Saint earth stewardship organizations to support Citizens' Climate Lobby’s nonpartisan climate stewardship initiatives. We take action, build relationships, and advance climate solutions. Our team creates a safe, welcoming space where Latter-day Saints can explore, interact, grow, and contribute meaningfully to creation care through our moderation of the Latter-day Saint Creation Care Community.
